Ireland’s Street Performance

My first time in Europe and I’m visiting Dublin, Ireland. It’s a beautiful city and thankfully there are lots of things for tourists to do. What I first noticed about this city was how fast everything is, and by that I mean how fast people walk, how fast traffic lights change colour and how fast and simple the Luas mechanism is. I feel like Uruguay is a way more laid-back country, though it isn’t as safe as it is here. That leads me to my second point. The neighbourhood in which I’m staying in seems to be very safe, whereas you wouldn’t be able to walk so calmly at night in Uruguay like we do here.

If there is something I do miss about my country is the warmth we all share with each other, even with people we don’t know. I’ve arrived to the conclusion that nobody really smiles or speaks to you on the Luas, nor on the bus, everyone is inside their own bubble, focused on themselves only, but once more, this is only a first impression.

Although people may be rude from time to time when walking down the street, I do enjoy walking, and there even are extremely talented  musicians out there, singers, guitarists, or even people who play the flute.

I do have an obsession with music, that’s why it’s the first thing I notice everywhere (even in clothing stores). As well as this, I attended singing classes because I love singing myself. I also wanted to know the techniques to get better, thus, I know now how to listen to voices, and I saw a great busker in Galway. His voice was raspy but you could hear him loud and clear, he was also good at playing the guitar, and I just overall loved his performance. The only problem is that I couldn’t get a hold of his name.

Those people could actually have a great future ahead of them, and if they’re doing something they love, they should definetely aim for more, and that’s my life advice, to always do what you love no matter what others say or think.
